Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Birthday

Happy Tuesday! I hope you are enjoying your week. This week we are keeping it simple...This week we want to see your BIRTHDAY creations.  The card I made was all done using Stampin Up products. I went for many years not using Stampin up, but recently Michelle Quinno (DT) became a demo and holding classes and I have found a new love for simple cards.  I have been more geared to mixed media lately, so the simple cards are a nice change of pace.  I made this card for my friend Pia's 50th Birthday. Love the jar and flowers. Great effect, don't you think.

Last challenge we challenged you to create Back to School projects, and boy did you guys have some amazing cards....They were all stunning. After torturing myself to pick the TOP 3, I finally chose:

                                                                            Katrina

                                                                    Marty F

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Back to School

Happy Tuesday....I apologize for being late today and we took last month off.  Now that the kids will be heading back to school in 2 weeks, I am hoping to get myself together.
This months challenge is Back to school. We want to see how you are celebrating back to school.  This year, my daughter will be a HS sophomore, and my son will be in the eighth grade. Crazy how times goes by so fast.
For my card, I used a Stampin Up stamp and die cut to create this card. Can be used for kids going off to college, or just as a thinking of your card.
The cards last month were fantastic, but the TOP 3 are:

                                                                 Hazel

                                                                          Pat K

                                                                      Paperesse

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Red, White and Blue

Happy Wednesday!!!   We are offically in summer mode here in New Hampshire.  Both kids finished school today and both were off with friends in the neighborhood running around.  The weather has been AMAZING.  High 80's with NO humidity. That is what I call perfect!

You guessed it...this months challenge is red, white and blue.. It doesn't have to be an American themed card, just incorporate the colors.  For the first time in forever, I made a card that I didn't stamp one single thing. This card was created by a card made by Beth from Pinterest.  So whatcha waitin for...Come play with us.

    Last months TOP 3 are:

 Sue

Beverly

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Father's Day/Masculine card

Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you are having a great week, and for all you Mothers out there, I hope you enjoyed your Mother's Day!
For this weeks challenge, we will be celebrating all those Fathers out there with a Father's Day or Masculine card.  I wish that I could tell you that I spend time making my card, but it took all of 5 minutes.  I recently started getting Stampin Up's Paper Pumpkin monthly kits, and I made this card with this months kit.  It's great when you are pinched for time.
Last month the entries were amazing!!!!  They were all so wonderful, and I want to thank you for playing with us.  Ugh....picking the TOP 3 was so difficult, but here they are:

                                                                         Suzi Mac

                                                                      Beckie

Miss You!

Happy Saturday.  Today I wanted to share a card I made for my friend Pia, who went away on Vacation.  The front of the card says Miss and when you open it, it says you! I used Stampotique's Line Up, by Kira Nicholas.  I created the polka Dot background with a marker and sorta winged it from there.  I hope you have a great day.

Find Your Fairytale!

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. For one of the first times in a long time, we just kinda stayed home and relaxed with no plans.  The whether had its ups and downs, but we manged to have some fun, and I managed to get caught up on the laundry and plant some flowers. It was a nice relaxed weekend.

Today I wanted to share a mini journal page I created using a left over cardboard, gesso, tissue paper, and Dylusions sprays.  I used my Feline by Roc Nicholas stamp, which is ADORABLE, and created this journal page for Samantha Read's Challenge this week, which is NO BLACK on your project.  I will admit that this was really difficult for me, as you can see, I ended up using black for my font. I hope you like what I created and I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge.

We're All A Little Mad Here!

Happy Friday (TGIF)! Today is not an ordinary Friday. Today is a VERY special day for more than one reason.  The first and most important reason why today, Friday May 27th is a very special day is because of this girl.
Today, my baby girl is 15 years old.  I cannot believe that what I just wrote.  How does that happen???How does 15 years go by in the blink of an eye...It's crazy, but when I look at her, I still envision her as a little girl, but look at her, she is a no longer a little girl but a young lady, a funny, loving, caring, energetic, enthusiastic and bright young lady. I love her to pieces and couldn't be more proud of who she has become.  Happy Birthday Abbey <3 p="">
The second reason today is a fantastic day, is the fact that Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass is being released in theaters (near you..LOL) today, and in celebration of this, the Stampotique Design Team has created some fantastic Alice themed projects for you.   I went with an Alice themed journal page, and used stamps by Janet Klein.  I used Rabbit, Alice, and Catepillar.   Janet's stamps are fantastic!!!  I hope you will check out the DT's amazing creations and join us in celebration of Alice!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend to my US friends!
