Merry Christmas

Happy Hump Day!!! Today I am sharing a card I made for this weeks Stampotique Designers challenge.  Kim is this weeks host and here is what she has to say:

"Hi it's Kim here and I'm hosting the challenge this week at Stampotique Designer's Challenge.

This our last challenge of the year and it will run the whole month of December.  Our theme is an easy one so show us your best work using Anything Goes.

We will be sharing our artwork weekly throughout the month so make sure to jump over to visit us each week.

For this month only, you will have the opportunity to enter the challenge 5 times (one for each week)- 5 chances to win the random $30 gift certificate for Stampotique stamps"

I used one of my favorite Stampotique originals stamps: Birdy Up to create this Christmas card for this weeks challenge.  I hope you will join us!

Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge: Holiday/Christmas

Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you are enjoying your week thus far.  Hard to believe there are only three weeks till Christmas. I feel like the days are going faster than I can keep up with...As you may know, the next three weeks will be super busy and fly by, and for that reason, this will be the last challenge of the month and the year.....yikes.....  With that being said, there is no better challenge than a holiday challenge.  This week, we would like to see your holiday theme projects.  As I have mentioned before, I have been crazy busy pursuing my BSN, and I haven't had much time to get creative, but I did manage to color this fabulous image! I hope you are finding more time than me, and are able to join us this week.

The projects for last weeks "thankful" challenge were fabulous, and after much deliberation, the TOP 3 are:

A little Edgar Allan Poe (well sort of)....

Happy December 1st! It sure has been a long time since I have been able to post.  School has been killing me.  I should have never taken three classes this semester.  It was entirely too much, but the good news, my semester ends this week and I will finish, with all "A"s.  It will be so nice to have a break from nursing papers, and research projects.  I am completely looking forward to getting crafty, as soon as it is over.  I have even started prepping a Christmas craft project, which I have given you a peek below!
You will have to stay tuned for the finish projects :)
Today I am sharing my card for last weeks Stampotique Originals Designers challenge.

Kay is our hostess this week and she has a fun challenge for us this week:

"My challenge this week is a simple one, but requires a bit of research on your part.  Just as many of the Stampotique Originals' artists design stamps that might be described as a bit "quirky," so, too, was Edgar Allan Poe a bit quirky.  He is a well known author and poet, living from 1809-1849.  His quotes range from the romantic to the melancholy, and from the thoughtful to the murderous!  The choice is yours.  Allow yourself some time this week to combine a quote from Edgar Allan Poe with one or more stamped images to create something unique!"
So, when I think of Edgar Allan Poe, I think "dark and a bit crazy", so I went with one of Edgar's quotes, and combined it with Buru, and combined him with Arwens Memo Page and came out with this mini journal page.  This was a fun challenge, and I hop you will join us over at Stampotique Originals.!
